CutCutCut: I can't seem to find any that will ship directly to NZ anymore. Anybody have a link that will? Is there anything similar in the same price range  availalble locally that people have experience with?

Anything wrong with YouShop? The ones I've bought always came through YouShop.

No not neccessarily, how much did you pay for postage of said device through youshop?

It costed me $26.75 originally, but I had a 50% coupon back then.

That was the total shipping cost for youshop. The 50% discount was not included in that price.

Well, unfortunately my six port one has a defective port - I tried different cables and devices but none will charge, only on this specific port. I've contacted Anker support, let's see how it goes.

They were very good when I had one of the original ones have a port go U/S. Because I was out of the US they processed a full refund on the spot.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

I've had many things not charge or only do it at 500mA on my one. Seems they are basically alright for ios devices but others that look for the shorted pins are hit and miss.

I'm back to my gutted cheap 10 port hub connected to a 15 amp 5v power supply as my "usb powerstrip" after finding the anker left me with a part charged note in the morning.

I presume you have power cycled the charger? The newer 5 ports and the 6 ports have resettable circuit breakers for each port.

No I haven't and was told this overnight by support so will do that today. If it is the case I wonder which device triggered it.

I've found that sometimes it can take a few cycles to reset the port. Have also had to leave the charger unplugged for a few hours to get ports to reset. Usually these situations occur when you're in a hurry!

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

With five ports available we don't have to hurry to reset and can wait a bit until everyone is charged...

If anyone in Wellington is order one of these any time maybe drop me a message, I might get one too. I don't care enough to go through the youshop process myself.

Also interested if anyone wants to loan me one for a few days to test charge performance. I'm testing different chargers and cables to see how they affect phone charge rate, which I'll report on in a week or so. I'd need a few days as my S4 battery lasts a couple of days on a charge.
