I think the laundry detergent one is free to all.

Yes laundry detergents and stain removers and dishwashing detergent reports are free.

k1w1k1d: Which is thicker, tissue paper or toilet paper?

Toilet paper is always thicker. Assuming you're not going to separate the ply. Bathroom tissue is another name for toilet paper.

You may validate this by trying to use a tissue for the other purpose but it would not surprise me of there were no takers for that experiment.

Maybe I should have asked if anyone else has noticed that toilet paper seems to be getting thinner/flimsier?

Coincidentally I just bought some Pams brand long which surprisingly is unusually thick like a luxury brand. Not my usual brand. The Purex Long I usually buy has been cranking up the price so I'm buying a 'competitor' to make them think again. Yes I know, but I'm doing it anyway.

Coincidentally I was thinking about posting a question on economy of work size rolls. I really hate the usual dispensers for those so it's probably a non starter on that basis.

You might have guessed I'm the chief roll maintainer at home.

Roll dispensing over or under?

So, there is a song I heard on the radio and the Chorus where the main singer starts singing "I feel a little bit lighter" the 'feeeel' part triggers a memory of another song I like, but I can't clearly recall the song or artist. I suspect it might be Peter Cetera.

Does anyone know of any tools that could help me identify the 'other' track?

If you know the general tune, you can hum it into either Shazam or SoundHound and it may be able to pick up the gist and present some options to you.

Did you know that if you don't look too closely and push a little firmly you can fit a USB 2.0 plug into a display port socket?

That's what I heard .......

I have found several in ethernet ones when devices were not working despite the user checking that they were plugged in.

Not so good but that's the price of not giving up and making that square peg fit every hole, square or not.

Bought a fan heater from Briscoes, so did a friend. She mentioned hers was getting hot underneath unlike an old one she has. So I checked mine and sure enough, under it was hot and so was the carpet below. Should I be concerned and return it?

It depends. How hot? Is air being deflected downward? What kind of heater is it, ceramic or filament? If you look at the elements when it is running do you see anything that looks like hotspots? And so on.

Personally I'd be very uncomfortable with 'hot' and I'd return the product.

Will turn it on in a dark room to see if the filaments have very bright spots. It’s not ceramic, just the normal fan heater. Of course the box it came in has been recycled now.
