OH jeez I don't have any fancy picture made up in Photo shop or otherwise.  It's in my head though.  This lovely new TV will become my Gaming screen - exclusive  so I don't have to compete with the Mrs who hogs the TV I have the Ps5 attached to so she can watch ah y'know 'lovey dovey' or 'cooking' or 'house programs'.....I have a spare room and I'll buy a nice comfy chair for after work, or before work, so I can enjoy peace and fun instead of mind numbing crap..................

PLEASE save my life !!!!

I’d like to use the TV to hang on the wall in my room and look like an artificial window into a portal that shows fabulous scenes from around the world and across time. I want to show famous events from history like the Apollo moon landing or great scientists carrying out experiments. There could even be dinosaurs walking past at some stage, or it could be a window on a spaceship flying out over Saturn's rings, that's where the OLED will shine super well. At other times, I could be swimming with whales or freezing with penguins. Personally, I've always thought having random famous historical people occasionally looking into my room would be quite funny when having work Zoom calls, too. I hope I win so that I can make sure that something fantastic will always be happening just outside my room.

It would definitely replace the bedroom TV which is getting a little past it. Still has it's 3D ready sticker on it. 😆

Just the same as the other Daniel,

I would also use this as the playfield of a virtual pinball machine. The Oled would make a fantastic playfield for this.

Here is the pinscape board that I built. It is used to control all of the feedback devices (plungers, shakers, flashers etc) and take the input for the plunger and flipper buttons. It also detects movement so you can nudge the ball, just like a real pinball machine.

Some of the ics are no longer made in the larger package so I had to make the adapter for the surface mount versions which you can see plugged in (and a spare one) just in case. Testing shows it all works now, compared to the fake ones I bought on aliexpress.

Here is an image of the one I built.

Daniel.

Will just give it to my Nan, currently on a 2007 model of the same size so this would be ideal.

I would use it to level up my gaming with the integration with Xbox Cloud Gaming and NVIDIA GeForce Now!

I would use it to replace my aging old TV or perhaps as a second computer monitor.

I have an LG C1 which is getting a bit long in the tooth, so the new 42” would be a perfect replacement 😁

I would use a lovely screen like that for space games, e.g Elite and Star Citizen, chill titles like Snowrunner, plus others with pretty colours like Satisfactory and Subnautica - burn in be damned!

Would be great to replace the tv in our lounge and take full advantage of the oled to give a greater cinematic experience.

Would be swapping out our old 48 inch lg non oled TV in the bedroom. It's served us well seeing as the wife dropped a screwdriver on it seconds after we unboxed it.

I'd mount it on the wall next to the existing TV. Then convert old TV into computer screen, so I can surf the interwebs on one while watching tele on the other.- and without having to change my glasses, between distance vs reading, as I have to when  using a tablet/phone and watching Tele. It would be an absolute luxury to me!
