After 18 months a new shop at the Palms Mall in Christchurch is days away from opening.    It's called Q or something like that - selling stationery, art & craft supplies & other stuff you might find at a $2.00 shop.     The ex Dick Smith's at Hornby is still being used for storage of stock for one of the mall shops.     The ex Dick Smith's in the Christchurch CBD is now a shop selling men's clothing.    18 months is a long time for a shop space to stay empty...
