I just manually added the card. Clicked the + icon to add to wallet, then selected the option "Everything Else" and used a photo of the Barcode from the email. Named it Club+. Looks fine and assume it will work.

I just went to Google Wallet>Add Loyalty card>selected New World> then Wallet asked my to capture barcode with the camera which is what I did.

So all done except it is labelled New World and not Club+.

Used it on the app earlier. First it said I had to update it, then it had signed me out! Will screenshot it and save it to notes like I've done with Woolies.

Use Supercards. It's pretty good.

Unless they've changed it since then (someone suggests adding it again as new and it may..) the card type required the member number (less characters) and not a proper barcode ID so fails.

Adding it as 'everything else' as others suggest will work, but you then don't get the advanced features like store finder or location popup (or other advanced features they can push like balance check etc)

/Edit editing the existing wallet entry will fail. Deleting it and Adding it as a new one allows the full barcode scan. Making it a smart entry again (for now). But you do need access to the email from a PC/other device or physical (it doesn't appear on a PC logged in) if you want to use the scan option.

They've continued the occasional "Spend $X in (product category) before Y Date for Z Club Dollars" offers in the New World app. I got a couple but they're only a week long (they used to do 2 week periods).

Another vote for SuperCards.

Opened the email on my tablet. Added a card and used the New World logo, scanned the bar code in the email. Deleted old New Word entry. Done.

Yes I did mine today. Took a picture of the barcode and it added into Google Wallet fine. Did the wife's as well.

We have never had them offered for our local store until today, in the NW app as you say.

I was able to log into my New World account tonight and upgrade to Club+ on the laptop without having to download the app or enter my DOB. At this stage all they know about me is my (fake) name, junk email address and a prepaid phone number I don't use.

I ordered the physical card to be delivered to a currently-vacant property I own so they don't even know where this fictitious customer actually lives.

There's absolutely no reason they need to know all my real personal information (or track me via an app) just so I can save a few bucks each week.

So has anyone who has imported to supercards actually managed to test it yet? I took the number and imported that rather than scanning the barcode (I didn't get an email).

Barcodes look similar.

I manually cut and pasted the barcode number into supercards, and the card it created it worked fine at the checkout this morning,

I haven't read all the back pages.

Can it be added anyway to Apple Wallet? I can't see in the Club+ App anyway of doing it, and I don't see a way of adding a card manually so I'm assuming it can't be done.
Bit of a PITA - the Woolworths card is in my wallet and is usable contactless.
