Every time I make a trademe purchase using a credit card the option 'save this credit card' is on by default.

There are several things that irritate me about this:

1. I don't like default saving of payment information
2. It should remember that I don't like it ; ) and default the option off since I turned it off last time

I will have to give up on #1 (i think everyone does it now?). But I would like to see #2 addressed.

How do you feel about default saving of payment information like credit card numbers?

IIRC Amazon is worse than TradeMe, because you can do one click purchase.  TradeMe at least asks for your password.  I find the TradeMe way quite convenient personally, but I did once order a Kindle book from Amazon by accident, when just trying to find out about a particular book.

I turned off "One Click" on my Amazon account just in case this happened to me..

Agreed. They need to have this off by default. It's really annoying when buying stuff.

Its quite easy to refund kindle books on amazon though and I rather have the convenience of being able to instantly buy a book and have it pop up than have to mess around.

The fact amazon might have this on by default does not bother me. I'm sure if you turn it off, it stays off.
