Today is pink ribbon day as part of October being the Breast Cancer Foundation's awareness month.

On Sunday WIMA have organised a motorbike ride from central Wellington up SH1. Details are here: http://www.wima.org.nz/pages/Pink_Ribbon_Wgtn_2011.php

I'll most likely be participating, if any of you are keen let me know and we can meet up before/during/after if you want.

If you haven't got a motorbike you can be involved by donating here: http://www.nzbcf.org.nz/index.php/get-involved/make-a-donation/online-donation

Cheers

Yip, great cause! Work has been pushing it really hard, with raffles, bake sale, sausage sizzle... unfortunately I cannot make the ride as I will be working.

Quite right, but I was not aware of when it was this year, seeing as I just woke up, then I doubt I will be able to make it, despite the power of my GT250R.

I'm not a big fan of 'months' but I did figure that if there even was one for something that kills as many men as breast cancer kills women, it would largely be ignored anyway! I bet if you look at the research funding we lose out there also.
