I remember reading in someones geekzone blog or post that they had problems with thier net speed until they disabled thier wifi security...

Does having wifi security enabled (wep) slow connectivity?, Im trying to determine if my appalling slow net speeds are 100% the result of the new Go Large plan im on, or if its a combination of that and my wifi security?

I added the wep security aroung the same time as going on the Go Large plan, so dont know which is at fault or if at all...

I have removed my wep security for now to see if it makes any difference, but dont like the idea of having no protection
