With the current changes going on out there with data caps and the like I've been considering changing from Vodafone to Compass.

I can't seem to find that many reviews or gossip out there about Compass except for some rather old stuff, anyone currently with Compass able to tell me what gaming is like and speed is like during peak times?

Currently looking at the plan below :

100 GB Broadband $69.95 per month

Hmm, even looked at the mammoth deal for $10 more but thinking I'd prefer to avoid traffic shaping and a 12 month contract.

Compass support was horrendous when I was with them. I even wrote a formal letter I was so frustrated. The problem is that you cannot call them from a mobile. I don't know if they have changed it yet. Of course being on naked all we had when it went down was the cell.

It was a nightmare. Just search around here for a few horror support stories. It might have changed recently. Maybe someone who is with Compass currently can comment on their support?

Cheers, Matt.

Thanks Matt, just wanting to get a balanced view. Hate changing providers as I've had a good run with Vodafone but have to put the feelers out for the best deal since Naked on Vodafone is getting the big miss going by recent plan changes.

I was on wireless with them and had quite a few outages. I swapped to another provider with exactly the same equipment and had no outages in months. This was a while ago so you might want to hear from others. We have been away from them a year or so now.

I too would be interested in peoples opinions, looking to move parents to this plan as they are in the compass zone. I was under the impression that they had now allowed calling the 0800 no from mobiles but not sure. The more feed-back the merrier I say

Are they using the old radio net gear or am I barking up the wrong tree? :-)

I don't think it was a radio gear issue. I used exactly the same radio gear with another provider and didn't have issues. This was on the Wired Country network.
