Hey guys,
I've spent the afternoon at a clients trying to get a SRP527W to connect to PFsense for a site to site VPN> After not being able to get it working I upgrade from a June 2010 firmware image to June 2012. The new firmware image doesn't seem to work. It connect and I can ping from the LAN but anything else is ridiculously slow throughpout like web pages may load the page title and the rest will just time out.

Anyway I'm think it will be much simpler just to put PFsense here with a Draytek 120 Vigor. Anyone know somewhere i Auckland I can get them retail? Usually order online.

There's two hardware revisions of the the SRP series. I remember reading of a problem a while back where it seemed the wrong firmware for the hardware revision installed OK, but wouldn't function properly.

Yea that could be it. To be honest I'd much prefer PFsense though as it has a far better VPN implementation among many other things.
