Hey guys,
I'm looking at signing up to a new ISP. I'm moving out of my current property (Telecom 500GB plan) and going to be staying with a relative for a few months.
Currently, my relative has no internet but has their homeline with Telecom. What I'm wanting to do is sign up to a naked broadband plan so I can be billed for the internet while the current Telecom homeline my relative has stays untouched (and free from any extra billing that would be caused by having an internet connection).
So far, I have whittled it down to Snap vs Maxnet. I'm really keen on Snap but the $150 D/C fee, if I choose to terminate the contract before 12 months, is a huge deterrent. Snap -so I hear- has great service and support.
Maxnet because they have an unlimited plan and I've never really heard anything bad about them and they also wont charge a D/C fee if I terminate the contract inside of 3 months, and they'll only charge a $75 fee if I choose to terminate it after 3 months. Currently, I'm leaning towards Maxnet but was wondering if anyone is on their unlimited plan or any sort of plan they have that could let me in on what their service and support is like.
Thanks guys!
P.S, I've already checked out Orcon and have already been a customer of theirs once before and am not happy with their service and product. I've also checked out Slingshot's unlimited/naked plans and whilst they are priced decently, the support they provide and the product they offer seems to vary greatly in terms of how well they perform.
