Hi

I think I already know the answer to my question, but can I use my Sonicwall NSA 240 to be used for UFB, i.e. VLAN 10 and PPPoE?

Has anybody else had success with Sonicwall appliance and UFB?

Thanks.

If you can tag VLAN10 on a WAN port then it should work with UFB.

Do whatever you want to do man.

I don't see why it wouldn't. It supports VLAN tagging. I have seen a 250M used.

Thanks for that. Sonicwall can be a beast to set-up due to it's enterprise grade capabilities. Nothing is quite simple in it's administration. It's all very rules and object based configuration. For example there is no 'one' WAN port, any of the ports can be configured as a LAN/DMZ/WAN/WLAN/DLAN (don't ask me what a DLAN is???).
