I needed to forward a few ports today and discovered I can no longer access my wireless router settings, in the past I have always simply entered voyager.home or 192.168.1.1 but now it times out. I can still access the internet as normal.

I am running Win XP SP2 with the latest updates, I can also still access the router using ping, telnet and ipconfig via cmd with no problems.

The router is a BT Voyager 2000.

I'm at my wits end so any help would be appreciated, THANKS!

Have you tried another browser (if you are using IE, tried Firefox)? Could it be listed in your software firewall as blocked?

Thanks for the welcome,

I've tried IE, Firefox and Opera to no avail.

One thing I have just noticed is that when I try to view wireless networks I now get a screen saying windows cannot configure this wireless session...

In your case it seems like that NAT entries are full in your router.
Can you pleae reset your router (i.e turn it on/off from the back) and then type in 192.168.1.1 in firefox.
Try this.

Sadly switching it on and off did not work... but I did find a small manual reset button accessible via a pin, the downside is I now have to re-forward all the ports I had set up but at least I can access it again!

Thanks everyone, still no idea how this happened but fingers crossed it wont happen again.

I got a Belkin router. If I use the web gui, it can crash the whole thing.

The interface dies, I cant access it over web or telnet - but the internet still works. Wierdest thing ever. Ive learnt to live with it though.
