Anyone bought phones in Singapore for use back home here in NZ? I want to get a P-800 PDA/phone when I'm there in June. Just a bit nervous it may not work when I get home!
Question: If I put my Vodafone SIM in an overseas phone while I'm overseas, and Roaming works, is it safe to assume that the phone is "unlocked" for use in N.Z. when I get back here?

If you buy a GSM operating in 900mhz and not locked to a network it will work. The P800 is tri-band (900/1800/1900) so it's fine.

You can test with your SIM if you want, but I'm not sure stores let you do it.
