Hello,

anyone do know how to update the firmware for this modem?
I got this modem from Telecom since 2006 January.
My Current Firmware Version :  V1.00B06.TX
so is there any latest firmware to download?

Thanks in advance

According to dlink you need to contact Telecom to get a firmware update, if there is one.

Otherwise you 'might' be able to put the non Telecom firmware on it.

But unless it is broken, then there is no need to.

Eusso, I assume your request comes because you are using a Telecom-supplied G604T on a non-Telecom ISP. If you do this it will keep defaulting back to Telecom/Xtra settings on reset or switch-on, and seems to have other issues as well. However you can download updated firmware from the d-link site and then it will work fine - mine used to drive me up the wall (after I switched to Orcon) but I did this a couple of years ago & it's been fine since then. I cost Orcon lots of call centre time & abuse till we sorted it out but I have to say they were excellent, especially since it turned out it wasn't their issue. Red face.
