kiwikiwi: Good news for people who live on the highways in the outskirts. If it can support VDSL(probably can anyways who am I to question it) that would be a damn welcoming for people who love content and huge households.

Aaarrggh.. Of course, it's usually only the horror stories that make it here, but there do seem do be a fair few sparkies that really don't know the basic when it comes to data cabling.
sbiddle: I've been into a brand new just completed apartment building in Wellington that has no ducting for fibre, 25pr cat3 between floors and BT jackpoints wired in series in the apartments with no patch panel / wiring hub.

Made of pre-fab concrete panels I presume? If so, it would be a devil of a job running any new services between floors.
