Hi all,
Are Spark Huawei modems okay in regard to the spying allegations against Huawei back in 2013?

Yes, we remove the spy cameras from our Huawei modems at the border these days :)

But seriously, I'm aware of the spying allegations back in the day, but I don't think this extended to bugging of their modems.

They are the number 2 manufacturer of telecomms equipment worldwide - I feel confident that someone somewhere would have blown the whistle by now had any spyware been found in their modems.

You have two options here.

1. Spied by China

2. Spied by Five Eyes

There is no 3rd option unfortunately.
