Don't bother. Any ISP that blocks people posting on their Facebook page has something to hide imho.

Couldn't pay me to join. The guy who owns it has a pretty shady reputation around these parts.

Having said that, someone I know joined with them and had no issues in a year with them.

I'm on their ADSL plan and they are fantastic, very fast and they aren't CG-NATTED.

So even though this thread and the other one that was linked to both had quite a lot of people telling you to steer clear, you went with them anyway?

Just curious why you actually asked for people's opinions when it seems like you were always going to ignore what was said and sign up with them anyway?

Well most of the bad feedback seems to be based on the owners previous venture and apparent trolling on here going back years ago (couldn't really find much info on it just that things hit the fan) and not on the actual ISP itself actually all on the comments I've read from people who've tried the ISP itself are all positive.

How do I check that? Been trying speedtest and have been averaging around 20mbps down keep in mind this is on my laptop on opposite corner of the house from the router, haven't tried over ethernet cable yet.

Just wondering what site you have found your ISP feedback on. I hadn't heard of this ISP before, but am looking at different options as my current contract is soon to run out.

Good to check out the Truenet reports when finding a provider.

The smaller providers (whom Truenet monitor) typically perform the worst. Then again if you're just after an internet connection and not too worried about anything then can shop based on price..

Most ISPs allow people to post on their Facebook page. Some even allow review scores.

Unlimited internet do neither of those things. Despite having 14k likes there is not a single post from their customers on their wall (and the number of likes a suspiciously high number consodering how little they engage with customers through Facebook - 4 posts since September, that not many people clicked on, seems to have gained them 5k likes!)

The implication is that they have a lot of bad feedback from customers they want to hide. They also have no presence here in Geekzone which is another huge black mark.

To me, an ISP that refuses to engage with its customers in social media is not one I want to sign up with. It suggests They would rather sweep the bad feedback under the rug and hope that people will sign up without doing the research.

This x1000 with the addition that on Geekzone most ISPs have a staffer or two who either as part of their social media / support roles, or in their own time lurks and deals with customers.

The lack of positive or negative reviews anywhere in social media should ring major alarm bells in my view.

If there was only positive reviews that would be just as worrying. But if you are happy to hand them money. Then good for them.
