I have a question regarding my carrier record on my VDSL connection to 2degrees - formally Snap, my profile type is 8b but my carrier record is currently showing as A43c which AFAIK and I could be wrong

is for ADSL2+ can anyone confirm this or correct me?

it should be A43 for any chorus based connection VDSL AFAIK.

I do have to question why your worrying about your carrier record value though.
