I am relocating to NZ and looking for a reputable isp ie good customer service, to provide adsl 2 with around 4-6G download and possibly a landline included in the deal. I am willing to pay around $70 total ($40 adsl 2 + $30 landline). Any suggestions?

The biggest landline provider is Telecom NZ (your telstra)

But there are other options ADSL 2+ is limited to where you are going to live!

Telstraclear cable is great but limited to areas in New Zealand

I guess you are refuring to #4, it which case, your #2 and ya links don't work.

Just to clarify - I meant I want 4-6g *download* NOT speed. I want adsl 2+ speeds. Sorry for the miscommunication!

As everybody knows, speeds are never guaranteed on a best-efforts service. Telecom does not use contention ratios as you might be used to overseas so download speeds are a bit of a lottery. Unless you can confirm you are connecting to an unbundled line there is no way you will be able to find out anything about expected throughput before you actually have a chance to use it on your actual line. Some of the loops here can be pretty long too, so perhaps its worth checking speeds of the neighbours before you move into a place.

You will not get landline for $30 in NZ, and you will need to check the amount of usage offered for broadband plans that fit your budget.

Time to find a new industry!
