Need some help or suggestions for a connection for our new house in Laingholm (on Laingrange place) The tricky bit being that the section was originally subdivided in the 70's and left vacant. We were going to go through Big Pipe whom I heard great things about but when I eventually got a Chorus technician out to the house it appears the phone line is in terrible shape and due to the nature of our driveway etc. mind boggling 5 figure sums were talked about to rectify this, which is not an option at this moment in time.

We are behind a hill so the Vodafone signal is non-existent, Spark is at best a couple of bars on 3G with 2 Degrees having full bars on 3G but no 4G.

I have had a quick Google search of other wireless and satellite providers and can not seem to find anything other than very expensive satellite with tiny, tiny data caps that would cover us...

Some usage guidance. Happy to pay more for a wireless service circa $200 a month.  I work from home as can the Mrs, we stream a lot of media and I game occasionally. I shudder to think how much data we went through when on an unlimited plan but with some reasonable rationing I am thinking 200GB a month. I really needs some options and any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks

if you are talking a couple of bars on a cellphone, then it would be a bit more with a properly installed external antenna system for a 3/4g modem.

I know the area well and should be able to sort out some RBI 4G Broadband. Feel free to flick me a message with your address and I'll get back to you.
