I need to try and work out how to provide internet access to a group of 20 or so students at a premises in central Dunedin. The students would be using wifi. The premises that has been selected (not by me) is a floor on a building that has no current services apart from power.
We are only using this space for a period of 2 or 3 weeks and maybe again later in the year for a similar period. Obviously its not feasible to get a fixed internet connection laid on (contract periods and all that as well as the possibility the location may have to change).
I dont think we can beg another occupant to let us use theirs either (I did think about it).
Sparks wireless broadband would look good - but I am not sure if they would let us (as a business) sign up for what is listed as a home service. If it was possible, it looks like $85 per month (for 60GB per month) x 12 months - so $1020.
Likewise skinny's offering - but they wont supply a business.
Anyone know if there is a way 'renting' a temporary internet solution - especially one that is available in Dunedin?
