One ADSL account 1.5km from Exchange is getting 1.03megaBYTE per second downloads from Akamai, and 10Mbit Speedtest.net results all over the country. :)
Another one is 800m away from Exchange and gets only 5Mbit on Speedtest.net (700Kbps up). :(

I just noticed this yesterday morning - did it happen then, or was it much earlier?
Yesterday, all 3 ADSL connections that I look after in Hastings went down at some point (different times).

Reboot your modems folks.

No change for the Napier CBD with our workshop connection and I just rebooted a couple out at Omahu road on the far side of the express way in woolwich - no change there either.
Just worked out these 2 wont be on the hastings central exchange. The clients I look after in hastings central have all moved to safenet wireless :-(
