Hi team. Recently got RBI coverage in my area (Halcombe). I am wondering if anyone has been able to find a plan that goes over 200GB?

I think the 250GB/unlimited off peak is as big as they go.
Plus unlimited am data can be included for an extra fee.
Try Inspire Net?
Wow this is a bit of a joke. Seems like not the case. I wonder if this was a regulatory requirement imposed as part of the RBI rollout.
Problem with all wireless technology is frequencies are not "unlimited" so there has to be some caps

I understand that but during Covid-19 lockdowns they made it unlimited. Spark have 300 / 600GB / "unlimited" WBB plans in urban areas. Just shocked that these plans don't seem to have increased, seemingly, since the RBI plans first came out.

Have you thought about starlink.
starlink.com
Yes but not everyone has $913 to drop on some hardware. There's a perfectly functioning RBI tower some kilometre or so away that should be able to be used.
I do think you need to re-jig your expectations a bit here.
Have you checked with Inspire? They do have some coverage around that area and have sensibly priced plans.
Being that it is a RBI area, 2Degrees will have their rural plans which are well priced considering, but it sounds like 170GB a month is not enough for you.
If Inspire can't service you, I would be looking at Starlink. They should be up and going later this year in your area. If you compare the monthly cost of that vs the RBI, it wont take that long to pay itself off.
I assume you have a copper connection currently? Being that the tower is pretty close to the exchange there, you ought to get some half decent speeds unless you are a mile back off the road, is it more upload speed you are after?
Never mind. I have found out why. MBIE has a regulated services agreement with Vodafone for wholesale RBI services. The charges are as follows:

What do you mean? You were referred to a provider with plans up to 250GB peak and up to unlimited off peak (midnight through to 5pm). That is what you were looking for I think.
I recently asked 2degrees about their pricing beyond 170GB. Here's what they said:
"With regards to our Rural broadband plans and data overuse or additional data charges, it is $15 per 20GBs.
This would only be charged after the 60 days free trail has ended.
There is no limit on the extra data."
Here's a comparison of 2D, VF, and Spark rural fixed wireless plans: the-fixed-wireless-pricing-jungle
