Hi,

My old DSL-302G gives me "WARNING : ATM VC Congested : Interface - aal5-0, PortId=7, Vpi=0, Vci=100" on every 30 seconds.

What does it mean, could this mean there is room for improve my DSL connection?

BTW, is there any actual performance difference in STv536 v6 / DSL-302G / DSL-502T in terms of DSL connectivity? (I got separate wireless router designed for longer coverage, so I don't need any "Routing" feature on the modem side) I'm using GoLarge and connected around 6~7mbps (downstream, not actual speed unfortunately) / 160kbps (upstream).

Cheers

Shin

It means that your modem cannot support the number of connections you're trying to make. You're probably using bit-torrent.

a quick google for that same error message brought up 165 matches...

Your torrents will probably be saturating your upload bandwidth too making web pages respond very poorly.

If you are using utorrent set a lower limit on the number of connections and the upload speed in the options, the defaults are normally too aggressive.
