I have got a PC and a laptop running windows XP. I have Xtra broadand installed and running. I have just bought a wireless router and wireless card for the laptop. I am planning on plugging the PC directly into the LAN router port via Cat5 and connect the laptop to the router wirelessly. I have got the wireless netork set-up OK and the laptop can see the the router but from here im a little bit stuck. Does Xtra support PPPoE and if it does, does this mean all i have to do is enter my username and password into the router WAN settings?. Or do i have to configure the router to PPPoA and enter the IP adress, DNS address and Gateway address? On the LAN side of things do i have to enable DHCP and the go to TCP/IP settings in windows and ensure obtain IP and DNS automatically is selected??
If i do have to enter the addresses manually does anyone know what they are?

Im a little confused, hopefully ythis makes some sense! The router (cant remeber the model) didn't have too much info!

Thanks

Just to clarify, i will be using an existing modem which is the D-Link 302, the router has no on-board modem,
