Hi there

I have recently purchased NBA League Pass Broadband which allows me to watch all NBA games live and archived.

The qualities of the streams in which they offer are 400Kbps 800Kbps 1600Kbps and 3000Kbps

This obviously uses my internet cap which is 40GB

My question to you guys is, how much internet usage will streaming at the various listed bit rates use in terms of Megabytes every 30 mins(half hour)?

Any reply will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

  • 400Kb/s = 50KB/s = 2.93MB/Minute = 88MB/30Min

  • 800Kb/s = 100KB/s = 5.86MB/Minute = 176MB/30Min

  • 1600Kb/s = 200KB/s = 11.72MB/Minute = 352MB/30Min

  • 3000Kb/s = 375KB/s = 21.97MB/Minute = 660MB/30Min

I've got nba league pass myself at home. Around 3gb per full game +/- skipping half time break etc.

Lokhor's calculation is about right, but only if this service is download only...

i heard this NBA service is based on P2P technology, your data consumption could easily double that, watch out.
