Does anyone know anything about FX Networks rolling out wimax or fixed wireless towers anywhere?
They have put one up in Ahuriri, Napier and reckon they are going to have some more up soon.

Is this happening anywhere else? And does anyone know what frequency / technology they are using?

Oh k
The guy in the napier FX office said yes they have one in Ahuriri and I noticed their fibre lands at the tobacco factory, as well as one of my clients who was approached by their sales staff seems to think its theirs.

And the guy from FX said more will be going in around Napier.

Could be Kordia but im not sure. Will be having a meeting with the FX guy next week about getting me some bandwidth.

Isn't most of the 3.5Mhz spectrum owned by Kordia and TelstraClear? might be using some other band.

Time to find a new industry!
