I've noticed that my Woosh test site in Auckland CBD has started to show degraded performance - that is, loss of connection and uneven speeds during evenings.

The signal seems to be fine, so I'm wondering if this is related to more subscribers coming online. As Woosh uses TDD-WCDMA, is it susceptible to "cell breathing" as described by sbiddle here: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?ForumId=39&TopicId=8732&page_no=1#42475

IP Wireless have technology that minimises cell breathing. Probably more likely due to increased subscribers.

The end result still being the same, just a potentially easier problem for Woosh to fix if they so choose.

Woosh has made contact with me, so I'll have a word with them about this. The service seems to be OK now though.
