stevehodge: Yes, been on DLM-1 since the last resync 9 days ago. Given I'm getting 48Mbps now there's not much point in messing with either config or wiring for me. Unless someone can confirm that DLM can choose to switch to the 17a profile, and given some indication of the requirements for it to do so (hint, hint)...

SamF: I believe that DLM can now automatically upgrade lines to 17a if the strict conditions are met.
SamF: It used to be the case that port changes had to be done manually, but I have heard from various sources (including information from Chorus) that this is automatic now - but only if your line meets the strict criteria.
SamF: I have seen an internal document from chorus that they had plans to make 17a profile changes automatic. I have since heard that this is now active. I don't know all the criteria for 17a, but the line distance must be less than 200m.
