So general consensus is to disconnect unused jacks, make sure jack in use is a direct connection? and if planning to have a phone later throw a master filter in?

yep, might want to look at running a fresh wire from the ETP while your at it

tips on tracking down the demarc/ETP?

hopefully theres a little white ETP box? otherwise your gonna have to take a best guess and trace some cables..

Well, my CRCs continue to climb!!

Connection average is currently at 6.66 CRCPM (SPOOKY!!) after ~40 days. I'm going to do a 5min reset because I'm over 10 CRCPM over the last 24hrs! Hopefully I keep my DLM-1!!

Phew, still on DLM-1! CRCPM is around 2 so far, which is what I was getting previously, but of course it's early days yet!

What your SNRM target at the moment? I noticed about 10 days ago my SNRM dropped from 9-10 to a very consistent 8db. I didn't change my tweaking so it should still be 10db AFAIK. I haven't had a DLM resync though (in over a month) so I'm still on DLM-2.

Bummer re DLM-2! What's your error rate?

I'm still stuck on dlm6 after the episode with the street light. Have asked snap for a dlm reset a couple of times but it doesn't seem to have eventuated.:-\

0.2 CRC/min, It's been consistently that low. Last time I was demoted to DLM2 it took 4 or 5 weeks before I had a change so I'm hoping it'll happen soon.

After 20 days, 17 hours and 29 minutes these are my stats:

I've had no DLM changes since getting vdsl2, was put straight onto DLM1, which is ~25 days

Anyone have a spare fritzbox I can use to see what sync rate I get vs the Zyxel? :p

It sure does take its time. I've been sitting on CRCPM at or under 0.01 for I guess 4 weeks now? On the stats page I barely get 20 errors PER DAY, but still no change.

mhm DLM certainly has slowed right down.. been sitting on DLM4 for 16 days now, no movement.. just errors that appear out of nowhere.. this rain..

Damn! Things were looking fine for me until this morning!!

CRCPM currently at 10! :/ Surely I've lost DLM-1 now! I'm going back to stock for a bit in any case!

Phew! Still on DLM-1! Errors down to 5, so better, but still not brilliant! That said, I didn't do a full 5min off reset so might try that tomorrow.

Hopefully it doesn't change in the morning. When I last had errors that looked a bit high and reduced SNR Tweak to compensate, it left me on DLM1 through that reset, errors reduced drastically for the rest of the day, but then it still dropped me to DLM2 the next morning :/
