There's not a lot more I can do with my internal wiring. I posted a picture a few pages back of how it is and you said yourself there's not much more that can be done.

I understand, it's a lot harder to fix in older houses than it is in mine so many will be reluctant to do anything.
I'm assuming the weather is to blame for the increase in errors, but I wouldn't know 100%.

testing over wireless? a loaded link? try a tracert .. something looks iffy about that ping..

Pretty sure my connection is getting worse...
Anyone else experience a high number of DSL reconnections? The IPv6 range kept changing saying it was no longer available.

your ping issues most proberly directly relate to your line being the WORST i have seen yet. your trace would indicate your dealing with DLM2 (fast is rather ambiguous sadly! generally it indicates 1ms but in your case..)

to be fair, ild take your connection over a say 10~14mbit down stream, purely for that lack of upstream congestion but thats a whole new topic ;)

run my tool (http://hio77.com/fritzlog/download/1.1.0.0/fritzboxlog.zip) that will give a little more info about your line, but im sure you answered this already.. is your connection filtered at all?

ild recommend talking to one of the various GZ members that do wiring.. get them in and sort it. otherwise, ring snap, get chorus out to do so.

your error counts arent so bad, FECs are remediable, but your poor fritz having to handle all of them!

that many resyncs, iver DLM is jumping around or your line is just plainly.. screwed. right now.

looking at your spectrum, your ADSL experience was probably rather subpar too.

interesting thing though, i guess DLM doesnt take RFI into account? ild expect by now for you to possibly even hit a 16ms profile!

Oh man, that is ATROCIOUS!! Remind me what your internal wiring setup is again?

How are you still on DLM-1 with a line & stats like that!? That ping time suggests that you are on DLM-1 but that your line is causing additional delays / loss to packets.

Yeah, it is very oddly low, but then again, so is his downstream sync! It's lower than his upstream!! Even a stoned, drunk, blind driver can drive at 2km/hr without crashing!! :D Note the massive error spike at 11am tho... that's some indication of what's really going on. That and the frequency spectrum graph is BAAAAAD!!

another question, do you have your fritz set all the way down to stability mode by any chance? could be why your error rate is rather low..

Alright, so outside I have two lines coming in from the street post as seen below.

Both of these head round the house, the one on the bottom that has the ETP disappears under the house beside the dinning room.
The other continues to the small box below.

After this box it then continues round to the back of the house, i'll get to that soon.
But first, here is the jack in the dinning room which has the fritz!box connected to it.

Now moving on to that other line that disappeared behind the house...it looks to go in under the window in the master bedroom (below)

this appears to then split and go into the spare room..

And then back up to the other end of the house to the lounge where the previous owners used to have sky...

Actually ETP goes under the house but no idea where it goes in the house, just had another look and the line that splits at the weird box before going round the back also goes into the wall and makes up the jack in the dining room lol
