RXV: Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 10,351 / 42,108

However, when I go on to speedtest.net, I only get the following results:

Any idea why this is occuring?  The router is reporting much higher numbers than I'm achieving at the computer.

Are you connecting the modem via WiFi or ethernet?

Tried both .. Ethernet slightly quicker, but still a relatively slow upload speed.

Two questions - is there anyone on Geekzone that can help with cabling and do a good job, or can anyone recommend someone I can call?

Are in Auckland\Waikato area?  If so Coffeebaron is the person to contact.

Thanks.  I've sent Coffeebaron a PM to see if he can help.

That's the closest I've seen ADSL2+ to it's rating.

That's right, it does look right, but how many times have you seen an ADSL2+ line that looks about right?

The fact that ADSL2+ has a theoretical maximum speed of 24mb/s and that modem is syncing up at 23.97mb/s.... real world speed that I tested on that connection was damn close too.

I guess it's slightly above average, most I've seen sync at between 18 and 22mbps down and 1 - 1.2mbps up, a few at 23/24 down though.

I've never seen one above 20 down 1 up.

ANYWAY, getting a wee bit off topic....

Gone from 34/10 to 41/10 in the last couple of days

Looks like my SNR has dropped down to 9 if I'm to believe the Zyxel modem stats. I've emailed Snap if they can tell me what my attenuation is seeing as the Zyxel doesn't seem to report it correctly

That works out to around 0.07 CRC Per minute down; I wouldn't worry too much about that.
