does anyone know how to see the dslam highest speed cap on broadcom modem?
(to determine 70/30 cabinet vs 100/50)

Jase2985: i think if you telnet in to the netcomm you should be able to get the DSLAM/MSAN type out of the settings

ok that's interesting, one of my dsl connections says "chipset vendor id: ikns:0x0001" and the other says "chipset vendor id: bdcm:0xa3f5". maybe that explains the difference between the two connections.
