Jase2985: I was bumped to a 17a profile this morning at about 5:40am. syncing at 64/10 and DLM-2. will wait and see what happens there.

Ive had VDSL since September i think. so its taken a while to get there.

thats quite a while, but exciting your finally there!

were you on DLM-2 on 8b too?

initially i was on DLM-1 on 8b on day 10 after the install. We had a sparky in doing so work mid December which meant a lot of power outages, and also my son liked to play with the power switch for the multi board that powers the PC/Modem. Thats all been sorted now and its been on constantly (and powered from an UPS) for about 1-2 weeks now. so im not sure whats caused the bump to 17a now. This last reset according to the modem stats was about 11 days ago. prior to the bump.

ah, sounds like your line had quite a few issues with it (be it user caused!)

enjoy your 17a!

I am about 6 months since the change. I want my download speeds back.

thats harsh.. ild be a bit more than just a tad bitter at that point..

Yup I am not happy, seriously unhappy actually, but to be fair the deal I got to switch providers and the benefits from having a connection with this provider are really good as well, but I am still pretty unhappy.

Sparky was doing work with the power in the bathroom, but had to knock the whole house off for a couple of things. My line stats haven't changed from day 1 to today :)

Interesting you were also bumped to 17a this morning too, I too got bumped up today as well. I wonder if some software updates went into affect this morning on all cabinets. (Maybe I'm just crazy)

OK something was changed.

i just cracked 17a last night! be concerned about my sync rates on it mind you.. they simply dont add up with the specturm, ill give it a few days then reboot i think..

dont think i have seen many lines distributing upload perfectly like mine iver..

for reference, modem emailed me at 5.37, seems to line up perfectly with everyone elses resync.

That is a strange spectrum. Your attenuation is the same as mine: 6, and the DS3 band looks like mine (actually yours has slightly better SNR). But your DS1 and DS2 bands have much worse SNR than mine, about 10db worse in the top half of DS1 and about 7db worse for all of DS2.

yeah, it seems very odd..

i think it may have simply been a bad sync, considering my DS1 and DS2 was far higher before on 8b.

dont wanna scare DLM into making any changes, so ill give it a day or so, then give it a reboot i think.. hopefully see something better..

i used to get about 48MBit on DLM-1 before, so i know its easily capable of it..
