sbiddle:
So you're connected to the exchange, nothing to do with your issue is related to a cabinet in any way.
What is the wiring like in your apartment? How many jackpoints do you have and how are things connected?
You could ask Vodafone do perform testing in SPM and post your bit loading graph here.
sbiddle: You really need to find where the wiring enters your apartment or what jackpoint is first and complete a full isolation test from there. You could easily have wiring in your apartment causing the issue, and have no way of eliminating it except for this.
brad_p: Thanks for confirming the issue Alex and for the additional info. That's the reason I didn't post this in the VF forums as I knew it was a Chorus issue.
Have already been through the process of changing profiles to no avail unfortunately.
So back to my original question: Is there anything at all I can do to get Chorus to fork out some money and upgrade this cable? Or do I have to wait 18+ months till Fibre?
Like I originally said, surely
networkn:
Did Chorus come onsite? I'd be interested if Chorus tested your speed at the demarc of your building.

fellaintga: I would petition you local MP this is ridiculous speed for where you are. I wouldn't be happy with that. I can see why they don't want to upgrade when fibre is close but come on move the fibre rollout to where the problem areas are.
