billgates: hmm. I will wait for 10 days and see if DLM does push my sync rates up. Sitting at 26.9Mbit/s for downstream. Naked VDSL2 connection with VOIP and no master filter. Less than 350M from the cabinet.

That's a terrible sync rate and attenuation if there really is only 350m of copper between you and the ISAM - based on that you're significantly further away or have a wiring issue somewhere.

Also people, think about other fellow VDSL users. If your wiring is impacting your own VDSL performance, this can also affect other users too. If you connection has to pump more power out, then this increases cross-talk.

It might not sound like much, but when you have say 10 poor VDSL connections in the same cable wrapper, because they couldn't be bothered sorting their wiring too, you can imagine how the impact will begin to escalate.

If you have VDSL without POTS (naked):
- get a master splitter installed, or
- have a single dedicated twisted pair feed from demarc to modem with absolutely no other wiring

If you have VDSL with POTS:
- get a master splitter installed

I could get faster internet as i just got connected yesterday and it could take some time to get faster speeds according to Snap. Errors can be cause by the fact that there was a Port Fault that they had to fix.

Will disconnect unneeded jackpoints. no point in installing splitter now as i can put that 200$ towards getting fibre to my house when it available.

There's only no point if you can successfully disconnect the wiring correctly, and be certain there are no stubs / taps to cause reflections.

What exactly are the remediable errors? My value seems pretty high comparing to others, could this be caused because there was a port fault at my exchange that Chorus had to fix in order to connect me? and does this affect my speeds

Are you sure? I saw around 300$ costs to get it wired through to your house...
