The last time someone bowled a cabinet like this, one of the Chorus guys here reckoned it was in the region of $150K to replace. Ouch.

Obviously on hitting the UFB connection, the car instantly hit 88mph, and is now somewhere over next Wednesday, or is that only on 4G? :)

Wasn't that for a whisper cabinet? These have full ISAMs and a cooling system in them.
This is a GPON passive cabinet. Should be far cheaper to replace as far as the cabinet goes. redoing all the fibre will be a pain/expensive though - someone else will have to comment on that.

Splicing the Fibre would be labor intensive... That' being said, like all good Tradie's they'll probably just get the Apprentice to do it.

The Spilter looks like it servived, you might be able to recover trays and blockhead fittings (24 connections on each) and depending on where the fibres snaped - most of the pigtails but other that that the rest is toast

I wonder where that fibre slack came from ?
