mishyman: Are those speeds are on telecom/Vodafone unlimited?

I cant tell if your serious.
Any speedtest from me would be that of my employer....

Plus it tells you on the bottom of the speedtest image............

I think he was asking if they were unlimited plans though, since that's what the OP is asking about.

Do all these plans work without needing a phone line at all? My daughter is in Teawanga, Hastings and was going to join up with 'Now' who were offering naked broadband but they need a copper connection which isn't available. Any suggestions?

they all require a physical phone line to be connected (or UFB).  Naked just means you don't need to pay for a landline line rental.

Finally looks like we might get a price drop in the Naked DSL market.

Not quite there yet as Slingshot's $90 for unlimited broadband + italk with 500 free min anywhere in the world (or almost) still doesn't seem to have been undercut.

Still waiting for that... at least there's now a choice of options at roughly the same price... i have thought of jumping ship for a less traffic managed unlimited or big data cap plan like Bigpipe's unlimitedGB for $79 or Snap's $150gb for $85 but then it's still $11 for italk so ... hard to justify the effort of switching!

Anybody seen a better deal out there?

edit: I see telecom has $69 for 150gb naked. Pretty good. I almost prefer giving an extra $10/mth to slingshot though after all the hassle and overcharging from telecom i had back in the day.
