The 200/200 has been working well with consistent speeds on both up and down. Able to max out both ways at the advertised speeds for projected lengths of time. This is a residential connection.

sbiddle: They've been available since the 1st July along with 200/200 and 1Gbps plans for business.

My ISP is claiming these are not order-able yet due to requiring commerce commission approval? Does that sound right?

Those 200 plans are unregulated commercial offerings right?

That's not correct, the last Chorus informer #201  from 2nd July says:

"From 1 July 2014 you will be able to order our new Accelerate fibre plans via OO&T and Chorus Portal"

Nope. We've been ordering them for our trial customers for a few weeks now.

Total rubbish.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

I am interested in a business related connection, unsure if it makes any difference?

Some ISP's will be waiting for the other LFC's to produce products. The ComCom your being told about in this case could be the product forum and 200/(50/100/200) from other LFC's coming, just need to equalize the product spec for Chorus's old PON kit and the other LFC's current gen PON kit

Most problems are the result of previous solutions...

All comment's I make are my own personal opinion and do not in any way, shape or form reflect the views of current or former employers unless specifically stated

Unregulated plans still require CFH signoff. So the ISP was probably referring to CFH rather than Comcom.
