And since we don't have LLU infrastructure, we don't discriminate between rural and urban either.

It has nothing to do with LLU. It is the nature of xDSL. Urban areas have shorter average cable runs.

I know.  My comment was meant to show that ISPs that do have LLU will naturally concentrate sales and marketing etc on those urban LLU areas, because they make higher margins there.

Because we don't have LLU, we don't have that incentive to concentrate on urban areas, so our mix of rural/urban is likely less urban skewed than the LLU providers... and yet we still out performed them.

But last I looked you didn't do BUBA, so you should outperform any ISP that has lots of BUBA customers as part of the mix (which is pretty much any major ISP).

correct.  Assuming Truenet don't control for this sort of thing and adjust for line length etc.

(except Flip of course, who only sells off LLU exchanges and related cabinets, so would expect to always be better than every other ISP if line length isn't controlled for)

Not supporting BUBA definitively gives you an advantage over the competition when it comes to TrueNet reports.

Really the transport differences between EUBA & BUBA should be broken out.

The difficulty is that as a customer there is no way to know if you are coming in over a BUBA handover or not. As there are customers who could be delivered from an ISAM (and thus connecting at ADSL2) that are delivered over a BUBA handover.
