Aredwood: Im with Snap and yes Im happy with them. Also 1 of the flatmates works for Vodafone and he really likes Snap UFB as well. If you do online gaming then definitely go with Snap. As they had the lowest Ping when I last checked the Truenet results. And have managed to get a download running at 180mbit from Steam servers. Also the Fritzbox can directly communicate with some models of DECT cordless phones. Which means you can have end to end VOIP without any analogue phone cabling. And there is a smartphone APP to go with the fritzbox. Which allows you to make landline calls from your cellphone when you are within WIFI coverage of the fritzbox.

O sweet. Im still checking out the cordless phones, I need a few for the house.

be warned , i and other people have had trouble with Uniden phones working on Snap's VOIP, in my case i couldnt get caller id working on my uniden phone, switched to a Panasonic caller id worked straight away.

Common sense is not as common as you think.

I've had Snap! UFB for nearly 18months now - have had excellent customer service, and no issues with the quality of their unlimited service - did >750GB last month without a problem - easily get 180mbps to Aussie, and >80mbps to US west coast even at peak hours.

If you're looking at cordless phones, the Fritz Fon may be an option - perfect match for the Fritz box, and a pretty decent feature set, including integration with the answer phone service in the Fritz box.
