Hi All,

Anyone have any opinions on the this router?  Thinking of purchasing this and going on Bigpipe, VSDL plan first and then potentially ordering Fiber once we're settled...

The UI is very simple/easy to use. The router itself is REALLY FAST and I had it connected to 200/20 fibre with no problems.

Hey guys, so apparently that router isn't compatible with VDSL...?  Any recommendations for a modem router which is VDSL compatible but also UFB ready?  We're only a small household with 3 people, but have a fair few devices among us.  Would like something 'future proof' for at least the next 3-5 years if possible? or is that unrealistic?

What would happen if I were to use that router on a VDSL connection?  Would it just not work at all?

It would not work at all.  It is suitable for ADSL and fibre, not VDSL.

Awesome, thanks. Just what I wanted to know.  Now to find a VDSL/Fibre suitable router. Anyone have any other suggestions?  Looking to spend no more than $250 if i can...

I have a Netcomm NF4V which does the job just fine, and cost around $200.
