I also see they've changed the wording for fibre being available:

"will be available at this address Feb-2016" rather than "fibre up to 200 Mbps by Feb-2016", which is definitely clearer (does "by" mean before, during, or by the end of?)

Well I am finding the new tool interesting. One thing though, I am showing as connected at 47, with potential for 47. Before I had my port changed by a Chorus tech who misunderstood the issue I was having on my line, I was actually getting 70/30 as part of the Band 988 upgrade. Should it not show Potential as "70Mbit"?

i checked out some addresses, and vdsl speeds seem to be all over the place, but most people still seem to be on adsl.  but in my wide search i managed to find some places in ufb area that the old system would tell me has vdsl available as well.  given the difficulties with getting ufb compared to vdsl, it'd be nice to know vdsl details in preference to ufb, and just say that ufb may be available.  the old system made that easy, the new system makes it hard. (although it's a bit clearer when you don't know that 20 megabit means vdsl)

Right, so I think it isn't very intelligent, and therefore not potentially that useful.

At my office it says I can get 200Mbps and I am getting 100Mbps, which is plan accurate, as I am on a 100Mbps fibre plan.

Weird it shows my house 30MBps (I currently get around 26-27) and both of my neighbours 1 house up and 1 house down both gets 50Mbps VDSL. 

My house is correct - fibre up to 200MB/s. Still annoying the map can't be scrolled though.

 Feels like each update they do dumbs it down to the point where its useless, seems like its just a marketing tool now
