FibreX is also $109.99 or $99.99 if you have an On account mobile (which is the headline price they're promoting everywhere)
I see the comparison table image in the story has been updated to change the Vodafone FibreX price to $109.99 ... silently, with no mention that a previous version was incorrect.
There is an inherent conflict between running a news organization, and reviewing (non-news) products by the same brand/orgination.

Where did Stuff get their information from? VF don't offer gigabit UFB services... (confirmed via VF helpdesk today)...
Or have I been misled......?
Vodafone don't offer gigabit UFB (outside dunedin), but they have announced pricing:
http://www.vodafone.co.nz/press-release/vodafone-announces-1gbps-broadband-services/
A note that the service is not yet available would have been good.
When I called Vodafone a few days after the above press release, the CSR had no idea that vodafone gigabit UFB had been announced, let alone when "soon" is, or how I could get infomed as soon as the product is released.

I hate it when newspaper do that, especially when there are open comments. Nothing like 10 people ripping into you for asking about infomation that has since been added to the article.

Possibly because they read this. Online stories don't usually include correction notes I have found.

Fairfax never include notes on stories when they've been changed to fix errors. This is quite different from many overseas mainstream media who do include notes when they fix mistakes or make corrections.
To clear up our section, I can confirm we've got phone support at MyRepublic NZ and our No Contract plan they've chosen to list has a $99 setup fee - unsure what the $348 fee is
There are also a few other errors in the table I can spot

This is quite a good article titled 'The day the news died' http://aardvark.co.nz/daily/2016/1104.shtml#continue , and it is about this article.
I wonder how it is all going to work out, if they are merged.

I have seen correction mentioned once or twice on articles, although not sure if it was APN or fairfax. But I think it shows a level of professionalism to include such notes.
I'll probably give Stuff a try when my contract with Spark ends in January, looking at that list one has to conclude that it is significantly cheaper than other gigabit providers. I don't need gigabit btw but just want to take it for a spin.
If you're interested in my experience with Stuff fibre as an ISP read here: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=49&topicid=204582&page_no=4#1696436
