Ok, since it's your site, can you answer the question above about how it's meant to work? Cheers.

You can access a public list at https://gis.geek.nz but if you want to know more specific details then post here and I am sure somebody can find it for you.

That site only shows cabinets though, not exchanges.

I presume it's MWN. Only seems to have three cabinets feeding off it!

Here's some Auckland suburban exchanges:

Avondale (Spark tower)

Birkdale (Spark antennas on building, next to NZ Post)

Blockhouse Bay (Spark cellular/paging tower)

Ellerslie

Glendowie (hard to spot from the main road!)

Glenfield (Spark antennas on building)

Glen Eden (Spark tower)

Henderson

Howick (Spark tower, plus TeamTalk antennas on building)

Mangere (really interesting 'futuristic' design...)

Manukau (Spark tower)

Manurewa (Spark antennas, behind NZ Post)

Massey (Vodafone tower)

Mount Albert (Spark cell tower behind)

Mount Eden (cell antennas on the building are actually for Vodafone and Woosh Wireless, Spark has a tower at back of property)

Mount Roskill (one of a few exchanges located adjacent to post offices, and the PO here also has Spark/Woosh antennas)

New Lynn (spot the Chrous van!)

Northcote (Spark tower on site, international cable terminal)

Onehunga (Spark tower)

Otahuhu (Spark tower on top of building)

Otara (Spark tower)

Pakuranga (Spark tower)

Papakura (Spark tower on top of building)

Ponsonby (Spark tower behind)

Remuera (hard to see but you can just make out the Spark cell antennas)

St Heliers Bay (with Spark cell tower and Chorus vans)

Tamaki (intersting to note the extra security features here not present at most other sites)

Takapuna (spot the Chorus van)

Te Atatu

Three Kings (Spot the Chorus vans)

Titirangi (Spark antennas on building)

Here's a few of them:

Google street view

I used to live a few doors away from there.. That place really is the middle of nowhere :-)

stubbed:

@michaelmurfy / @quickymart gis.geek.nz is my site. Just looking at updating the Chorus layers on the new interface and it would be nice to be able to link people back to the exchange the cabinets are plumbed back too.

It's a nice to have, not a need.

If someone wants to send me a dump from an internal tool, that'd be awesome :)

It's a really cool tool.

Wellington City Council has a list of the exchanges in Wellington: http://wellington.govt.nz/~/media/your-council/plans-policies-and-bylaws/district-plan/volume01/files/v1chap24tables.pdf?la=en (Part T). Seems a bit old but you might be able to confirm if it's current.

East Tamaki (?)

Forrest Hill
