RCG Licenses = Orange.

Except that includes sites that aren't live such as the VFNZ Bethells beach tower ;)

@hio77 OMG Bethells Beach sooooo many complaints when I was at Vodafone about no mobile coverage here from the locals but the locals were the ones blocking the build of a new site!

I am sure the locals smoke toooo much of the green stuff

Yeah... with the wireless network all installed around here it's quite funny.

the are very sensitive to knowing it's 5ghz radios. they hear 5G and oh boy...

There were requests for a EMF reader recently..

In saying that, @chorusnz recently finished their fibre installation to the conklin.

Here is hoping RCG sees an option in that and shoves a tower right next to the cabinet (low costs for fibre install then) ;)

I'm still keen for the current potentional site to have a fibre run not a MW link, purely for my own self benefit of doing a "oh while your down there.... why not throw me a fibre"

Any chance RCG could be added to the main screen, maybe replace Woosh :-)

The current website is basically dead / grandfathered. With the Google Graveyard adding Fusion Tables in December I have to rebuild the whole site using other map tiling tools. If you're interested have a quick read of this and/or this.

tl;dr Should have a beta version of the website up live late October with new website supporting RCG / 5G November.

Pretty 🤩

Anyone know what hardware they're using? There's nothing of interest associated with the licenses.

Vodafone has had a license for there since 2015 on Jonkers Road.

Is there not a tower there?

LOL nope. They have just had the licence since then.

It got a lot of backlash from locals once the licence showed up.
