This was not standard practice until recently it seems going by the comments before yours. I have seen quite a few Chorus ONTs at friends/family houses out of geeky interest and I have never seen a single ONT with any labels of that description. All the ONTs I've seen are the older Model 100/200s which I assume makes up the bulk of the currently deployed Chorus ONTs.
Just noting the OPs photos and for folk in general that expose the fibre by removing the ONT, there is a real health risk if you look up the exposed fiber end, hence the yellow alert sticker, this danger is real and very easily compromised.
An elderly friend of ours sold his house just as NZ moved back to L1 Covid lockdown. The day before handover HIS real estate agent acting like the buyer's best friend came around with the buyers to make sure the clearance was on track and there'd be no surprises the next day. That would be the ideal time to check that fixtures like the fibre ONT were still there rather than counting light bulbs and looking in the oven.

It is close to the Chorus logo on the bottom left (I believe that's where the logo is?) - seen it for many years on all of those models I've seen (as in, since UFB rollout started)
Maybe real estate agents need to put the ONT on the chattel list, and advise sellers that the ONT and power cord are NOT to be removed.
We are renting and I asked the property manager to out it on ours because it wasn't in there. But our landlord has listed an old vodafone router as part of what came with the house, no idea why and I can't ever see a tenant using the damn thing as it's an old piece of junk. I'm assuming they spent money on it once upon a time but as the ONT is the lfcs problem and a freeby that they'll replace anything missing the landlord doesn't give a toss if it's there or not.
Pretty sure our previous house that was recently built had a sticker saying leave the ONT behind.
