There is a VOIP due to landline being connected to modem.

So no line filters?

There is voice and xDSL on the line. Can't really check any other jack points due to it being on the only working one. We have tried calling Vodafone to fix it and did all the troubleshooting steps and didn't do anything.

@nathanqh Have you got any line filters plugged in?

Yes there is a filter plugged in. I can try swapping it with another one.

So there is no traditional voice shared on the xDSL line ?

@nathanqh You should have no line filters and a dedicated xDSL master telephone jack point

Not anymore because Vodafone is charging everyone over to VOIP instead.

You should have a single cable between telephone jack point and the modem (No filter on this cable)

Yup that's the way the world is going, but I am surprised with such a slow connection they wouldn't use Baseband IP

anyway, you should have the following LINE -> Master Filter -> DSL Jack

Master filter is one of these https://cdlnz.com/XDSL-MASTER

Have you enquired as to what the custom install will cost you to get done of fiber? Because with those low speeds you clearly have a fault and it seems that noone will fix copper anymore.

Otherwise you may have to look at a 4g connection, but those arent that great for gaming.

You simply do not have enough bandwidth on that connection to do what you are trying to do. If its a fault they will fix, then you may get back to what you had before but IMO anything ADSL is not suitable for gaming and servers should be kicking them off it the pings are spiking affecting other players.

I haven't enquired about how much yet but I might try at some point. It would be in the 10 thousands (this is based off someone in the area that has asked for an estimate but are a bit further away) I used to be able to play games fine on a ADSL connection but recently meaning in the past few days it has become really bad.
