As much as the Linksys's are good routers. The modems inside them are a load of crap. Still better then th G604T's but not by much.

If I were you I would get a Thompson, Dynalink, Billion TP Link (broadcom chipset I believe?) which are suited better for NZ dsl.

Then if you want Wireless and fancy stuff like that, just get a linksys router and link it over from your modem.

Or just use your current 604 as a WiFiAP. But definetly do the broadcom chipset modem, the simple DSE XH9949 (rebadged and boxed TP-Link) is a good unit, I have installed dozens on various jobs, all still going strong.
